For out of town visitors, please book your accommodations as soon as possible! It’s a busy weekend in Omaha because of the College World Series and we were not able to block off rooms for our guests. I have listed some hotels close to downtown and our wedding that would be great places to stay. We would suggest staying at the Courtyard Marriott or Hilton Garden in Omaha if you would like to be downtown in the Old Market area and close the wedding.
We have also looked into expedia.com for booking accommodations and it seems that you can get some pretty good rates. We’re not sure if these rates are accurate, how difficult it is to book, or how long they will last but they are much lower than the rates we received when calling the hotels directly.
